How we work
Editorial standards
Your Hiring Partners is written and maintained by the Outsourcing Insider editorial team. These are the rules every number and page follows.
Who writes this
The Outsourcing Insider editorial team researches the pay data, builds the calculator and writes the templates. Outsourcing Insider is a VA MASTERS company, and VA MASTERS' published rates appear as the agency example. That's why the rules below are fixed and public. More about ownership.
Where numbers come from
- Government statistics offices, central banks and tax authorities first; then job boards, salary-data platforms and neutral surveys.
- Never from staffing, outsourcing or VA companies (including VA MASTERS), and never from salary pages that don't say how they were built.
- Every figure carries its source and the date we checked it. If we can't find a sourced figure, the page says "Not published". We don't fill gaps with estimates.
- We copy figures as published and do only two kinds of math: converting currencies (at a named central-bank rate) and converting monthly or yearly pay to hourly (at the country's full-time hours). Both are shown on every page.
How we present them
- Ranges, not single numbers: from the lowest to the highest figure across the sources. Sources disagree, and a range shows it.
- Sources are named in plain text, with the date. We don't link out to the sites we cite, so nothing here is an affiliate link.
- The calculator shows its working: every line item, its source and every assumption.
Independence
- No one pays to appear on this site or to change a number.
- If we ever add sponsored content, it will be labeled "Sponsored" and kept apart from the data.
Updates and corrections
- We re-check pay data and exchange rates at least every three months. Each page shows when it was last updated.
- Anyone can ask for a correction. We check it against the source and log every change on the corrections page.
